The Dodge Charger EV Sedan Is Finally Here

  • The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona is available as a four-door.
  • The electric muscle car has a single powertrain version.
  • It has 670 horsepower and can go from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds.

The four-door version of the all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona is finally here, one year after it was shown to the world alongside its coupe sibling. Dodge opened the order books for the 2026 Charger Daytona sedan yesterday, and the first deliveries are expected in the second half of the year.

Despite it being “the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car,” the two-door Charger EV has had a lukewarm reception from both the press and the public. In the first quarter, Stellantis, Dodge’s parent company, sold roughly 1,950 Charger EVs, a 49% decrease year-over-year.

That might have something to do with it being a $60,000+ two-door EV, which in today’s market is a bit of a stretch. That’s where the sedan version comes in, with its more spacious interior and two extra doors that offer a bit more practicality.

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona sedan shares most of its underpinnings with the coupe version. This means there’s no entry-level R/T version, making the Scat Pack the only trim available for both models. That’s good news for power-hungry drivers, but it also means you’ll have to pay more to get behind the wheel of an all-electric Charger. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet for the four-door Daytona, but the 2025 two-door Scat Pack was a $70,000+ car. Not cheap, but Dodge offers some rebates, making the pill a little easier to swallow.

Like the coupe, the Charger Daytona Scat Pack sedan has a dual-motor setup that’s good for 670 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, the PowerShot feature adds 40 hp for 10 seconds when activated, enabling the battery-powered Charger to go from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds.

According to Dodge, that figure makes the Charger EV the quickest muscle car in the world. If drag racing is your thing, the automaker claims the electric sedan can do the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds

Charging the EV from 20% to 80% takes 24 minutes when hooked up to a DC fast charger. Moreover, Dodge ships the Charger Daytona with a Level 1/Level 2 combination charger that can be used on either a 120- or 240-volt outlet by switching the end connectors.

The list of standard equipment is quite extensive. The electric Charger comes with a simulated exhaust system, all-wheel drive, one-pedal driving with three levels of regenerative braking, a 16-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a nine-speaker audio system, lane-keeping assist, traffic-sign information, automatic high beams, and rear cross-path detection.

The biggest option pack for the 2026 Charger Daytona is the Track Pack. It comes with red Brembo six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear, dual valve adaptive suspension, a gloss black rear spoiler, performance seats with a fixed headrest, larger wheels and tires, and a Drive Experience Recorder, which can log vehicle data while doing laps.

Five more option packs are offered on the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona. They offer things like a panoramic glass roof, an 18-speaker Alpine Pro audio system, carbon fiber accents, a power hatch, and premium LED headlamps.

The 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack in two- and four-door body styles can be ordered now. The gas-powered Charger Sixpack will follow in the second half of the year.
