The octagon-shaped downtown features a range of quaint eateries, cozy restaurants and cute local shops. You can find everything from clothing and home decor to homemade treats and specialty coffees in this charming village.
Goderich’s history dates back to the early 1800s, and you’ll see beautiful historic architecture and old-world houses scattered throughout the area. Home to just 7,500 residents, it offers peaceful, small-town charm away from the bustle of cities.
One of the town’s main highlights is its beaches. Goderich is home to three picturesque beaches where you can go for a swim and wander along the breathtaking shores.
Main Beach offers a sandy stretch of shoreline and views of ships passing by, while St. Christopher’s Beach features shaded areas. Rotary Cove Beach has a shallow, sandy entry.
